Welcome to our Willow Valley Genealogy Club website. The club has been in existence since approximately 1996 and, at the present time, our group seems to be the only genealogy club meeting in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. We would welcome guests and new members from the area who are interested in genealogy and family history. And so, if you are a Lancaster County genealogist — whether you are just beginning to trace your family ancestry or have years of experience — we invite you to join us.
Our club meets monthly, from September through May, in the Willow Valley Communities, in Willow Street, PA. Our meetings are from 2:00-3:30pm on the third Tuesday of the month. Normally, we have a one hour presentation and a half hour for chatting, refreshments, browsing through genealogy books and videos, or answering questions.
There is no charge to attend our meetings, but if you find our group helpful, we hope you would consider becoming a member.
All non-Willow Valley residents must contact Jim Robinson for meeting location, directions, and additional information.
- Check out our schedule of meetings planned for the 2024-2025 season. We begin with “Military Records” presented by Russ Schwalm on September 17th.
- Notes from our Past club meeting are now available under the Presentations tab.
- All meetings will be held on the third Tuesday @ 2:00pm in the Spring Run auditorium for 2024-2025 sessions.
